While there are plenty of golf courses near the Amethyst Inn, in Lancaster County, PA, you now have more options for golf adventure with the new vacation home in Highpoint, North Carolina. With 3 country clubs and 2 courses near the house, you’ll be able to golf on a challenging course everyday.

The Grandover Resort is in Greensboro and has 36 holes to perfect your game. With 1500 acres filled with trees, deer, and surrounding hills, you’ll definitely have the chance to enjoy the Greensboro nature while perfecting your hole in one.

Also in Greensboro, the Sedgefield Country Club has 18 holes designed by Donald Ross. The rolling fairways creates challenges for both the amateur and professional golfer. Be careful that you don’t use too many mulligans on this course! The PGA Tour will be at the Sedgefield Country club the week of August 13-19, 2012.

Forest Oaks, has been on the PGA tour before, but it’s not scheduled for this year. The well maintained course has five sets of tees that creates a challenging game for golfers of every level. The Greensboro National Golf Club, has 18 holes with a classic layout, so aim for some “birdies” on this course!

Being the only course in High Point, the Oak Hollow Golf Club has 18 holes designed by Pete Dye. His unique characteristics create risky situations that result in high reward for professional golfers.

Don’t forget to schedule your tee times in advance so you can experience all the courses during your vacation. You may even decide to make this a guys weekend, but if the family joins you, have them drop you off at the club before they head to the Tanger Outlets in Mebane, NC.
