Fine Dining Lancaster, PA

I had the opportunity this past Sunday to celebrate my wife's grandmother's 95th birthday at one of the restaurants we recommend to our guests when they visit, Lily's on Main, in the town of Ephrata in Lancaster County.  After my visit with them I'm reminded of why we highly encourage our guests to share a meal together at this lovely restaurant.  Our group consisted of 11 people and we had an area all to ourselves, which was quite nice because we had a couple of little ones with us.  I began with the Calamari as my appetizer, which I always enjoy, and ordered the Guinness Braised Beef Short Ribs as my main course meal.  Well, everything was excellent and I did not walk away wishing I had ordered something else (usually I'm second guessing myself when I order a meal other than steak at a place like Lily's).  Everyone commented on how much they enjoyed their meal and we were all thankful
that we had chosen to stay close to home, and reminded how fortunate we are to have a place like Lily's only minutes away.  The atmosphere was great and the service was outstanding.  We wanted to do some special things for my wife's grandmother at the restaurant, and the staff there were very accommodating and helpful and contributed in making this day special and memorable for her 95th birthday.  I knew there was a good reason why we always recommend guests visit Lily's on Main during their stay, and now I've experienced that reason myself.  Thus, they will continue to remain a top dining spot for the guests here at the Adamstown Inns and Cottages.
