Celebrate Lancaster PA

Join Adamstown Inns and Cottages this weekend as we Celebrate Lancaster! This annual festival draws over 15,000 people to enjoy the entertainment, food, shopping, and firework display. Focusing on the local culture and food, you’ll get a taste of just how diverse Lancaster County is. This all day event on Friday June 22 is free and open to everyone from 11:30am to 10pm. Local pubs and wineries will be showcasing their products, and over 20 food vendors will line North Queen Street and Lancaster Square. Enjoy cuisines from Sherri’s Crab Cakes, Hess’s Barbecue, Dutch Country Concessions, Sa La Thai, and more.

While the food entices many people, the major draw for this event is the live music. Covering genres from bluegrass, R&B, rock n’ roll, Celtic, and more, there are stages at Binns Park and in Penn Square. Use the following schedule to plan your day of musical enjoyment.

5pm: Jordan Rast--a local musician who performs popular songs, folk ballads, and honky-tonk.
6pm: Bright Side Baptist Church Choir: lively gospel music.
6:30pm: Burning Bridget Cleary--a lively performer of Celtic and folk music.
7pm: Rotimi Hundeyin & Afrophonik Rhythms Crew--he plays many instruments to create a mix of afrobeat and folk music.
8:15pm: The Ragbirds--Using instruments from around the world, this group plays folk rock & pop.
8:30pm: Frankie Morales & Mambo of the Times Orchestra--A Latin Jazz singer.
Throughout the evening: The Happy Wanderers (German Quartet) and the MFE Community Chorus (music from around the world)
